Destination: Delhi-Jaipur-Ranthambhore-Agra-Delhi
Day 1: Delhi Arrival
Arrive in Delhi, India. Upon arrival in the capital of India – Delhi, Wildlife Destination representative will greet and assist you to transfer you to the well-maintained & prestigious hotel, designated for you.
DELHI – The capital city of modern India has behind it centuries of history, which has enriched its culture. Nowhere has tradition blended with modernity on a scale as evident in Delhi – age-old monuments stand check by jowl with ultra modern hi-rise buildings. Delhi has been the seat of power for centuries. Today old and new city combine to present a harmonious whole offering the traveller, elegant shops, broad laburnum lined avenues, sun warmed elegant forts and mosques that were once stronghold of Mughal powers and colourful bazaars. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: Delhi
Breakfast at the hotel.
Morning, full day sightseeing tour of Old and New Delhi. OLD DELHI- the 300-year-old walled city built by Emperor Shah Jehan in 1648 as his capital and named after him, the Red Fort ( Closed on Mondays) built of red sandstone. Opposite the fort is the black and white onion dome and minarets of the Jama Masjid, the most elegant mosque in India. Then visit Raj Ghat, where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated in 1948.
Afternoon, NEW DELHI- the new capital designed by Sir Edward Lutyens. Drive past the Presidential Palace, the Rashtrapati Bhavan and the secretariat buildings – the centre of all government activity and down the main avenue, the impressive Rajpath to the World War I memorial arch, the India Gate. Visit Humayun’s Tomb built in 1565 AD by his grieving widow Haji Begum, the Qutub Minar, 72 metres high and the ruins of Quwat-ul-Eslam (Light of Islam) Mosque. See Delhi’s most curious antique, the uncorroded Iron Pillar, which dates back to the 4th century AD. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 3: Delhi-Jaipur (265kms/ 5Hr)
After a sumptuous breakfast in the hotel you will be driven to Jaipur. After reaching Jaipur in the afternoon our guide will assist you to the hotel. Check in at the hotel and relax and later in the evening get ready for the excursion trip to the ethnic village – Chowki Dhani for dinner. The evening shall cater a delectable Rajasthani cuisine in the resort followed by a flavor of traditional Rajasthani stay.
Day 4: Jaipur
The day shall advent with a breakfast and shall continue the site seeing tour of Jaipur Capital city that offers magnificent forts and beautiful havelis. In the morning the Go Heritage India Journeys representative will traverse to the magnificent Amber fort. An elephant back ride to fort shall provide a very exciting memory of the royal accesses of the pink city, Jaipur. The visit to City Palace will leave you mesmerized. The beautiful city palace is a delightful fusion of Mughal and Rajasthani style of architecture. Then we visit the legendary Jantar Mantar and Hawa Mahal (Palace of Wind). Lunch will be served at the palace. The evening shall include some leisurely activities such as shopping in the neighboring bazaars where you can shop for some of the famous Indian handicrafts at very favorable prices with this shall conclude the Jaipur tour as you move back to your Hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 5: Jaipur- Ranthambore (165 kms/ 3 Hr)
On day five of Taj Tour with Tiger, you will be served a sumptuous breakfast at the hotel after which we drive to the renowned Ranthambore. Upon arrival, you will sign in at the hotel/ resort befitting your liking. Lunch menu will be served in the hotel. The afternoon safari to the Ranthambore National Park shall bequeath exhilarating memories of an enthralling ride. Dinner shall be served at the hotel followed by a overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 6: Ranthambore
Enjoy an early morning safari into the park and spot the ferocious Tiger. You can explore most amazing flora and fauna on earth in Ranthambore National Park after this halt for lunch and later, visit the famous Ranthambore fort before retiring to the hotel for the night.
Day 7: Ranthambore- Agra (294 Kilometers / 183 Miles)
The seventh day of your Taj tour with Tiger shall begin with a leisurely breakfast at the hotel which shall be followed by an expedition to your next destination, Agra. Reach the ancient city of Mughals, Agra at afternoon where our Go Heritage India Journeys tour guide shall provide a pertinent location for your stay in the city of world heritage. After freshen up a tour to the Taj Mahal city shall then follow. On your Taj Tour with Tiger you shall visit the World heritage sites such as, Agra Fort and Itmadullah’s Tomb. After an intricate trip to the city you shall spend the night at the hotel at Agra, Mughali dinner will be served to the guests.
Day 8: Agra- Delhi Departure (206 kms/ 4Hr)
Morning Sightseeing tour of Agra, Including Taj Mahal. Admire the pinkish glow of the white marble as the first rays of the sun falls upon it. Later drive back to Delhi. En-route visit Sikandra- Mughal Emperor Akbar’s Mausoleum and continues drive to Delhi, on arrival transfer to the Airport to catch flight to your final destinations.
