DETAILED ITINERARY- Luxury Tiger Safari in Rajasthan

Day 1: Arrival in New Delhi

On arrival at Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi, you will be received by our representative who will transfer you to the hotel. You will receive a docket of all your travel related documents for your upcoming Luxury Rajasthan Tiger Safari Tour. Overnight stay at the hotel in New Delhi.

Day 2: New Delhi – Agra (By surface, 220 Kms/4 hrs drive)

After an early breakfast, depart for Agra (220kms, 4-hour drive). On arrival, check into hotel. Later, visit the red sandstone known as AGRA FORT which stands banks of Yamuna River. Three successive Mughal emperors — Akbar, Jehangir and Shah Jehan — helped create this massive structure which contains Indo-Islamic architecture. Check out from the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel in Agra.

Day 3: Agra – Ranthambhore (By surface, 260 kms/5 hrs drive)

At sunrise, proceed to visit the famous white marble mausoleum, the The Tai Mahal, which was built in the middle of the 17th century by the Moghul emperor Shah Jehan as testament of love for his wife Mumtaz Mahal.

Completed in 1652 by almost 20,000 skilled craftsmen from Persia, Turkey, France and Italy.[The Tai is Closed On Friday].

After a relaxed breakfast, check-out from the hotel and depart for Ranthambhore National Park (260 kms, 5-hour). On arrival, check into the lodge. Dinner an overnight at the lodge.

Day 4-5: In Ranthambore National Park

Morning 8 afternoon jeep drives in the park. Meals at the resort. Overnight at the hotel in Ranthambore. This is one park which will give you all the angles, lighting, backdrop, and many frames of different kinds as capture the awe inspiring beauty of this park.

Ranthambore is also extremely rich in bird diversity with over 300 species that can be seen here. In fact, for a keen birder, Ranthambore National Park and the surrounding area is an absolute paradise. Some interesting resident species of birds are the Great Cormorant, Painted Spurfowl, Sarus Crane, Bronzed Winged Jacana, Sandpipers, Kingfishers, Nightjars, Painted Sandgrouse, the Indian Eagle Owl and many more winter migrants which arrive from their nesting ground north of the Himalayas.

Day 6: Ranthambhore – Jaipur (1 80 kms/3 hrs drive)

Morning jeep safari in the national park. After relaxed lunch drive to Jaipur 180 kms/3 hrs drive. On arrival check into hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel in Jaipur.

Day 7: In Jaipur

This morning you will drive 11 km periphery of the city and visit Amber Fort, the ancient capital of the State until 1728. Visit the Temple of Kali, the Hall of Victory or Jai Mahal.

Later visit the Observatory, the Palace of Winds and the City Palace and Museum. The museum has an interesting textile collection, which contains the attires of the former Maharajas and Maharanis of Jaipur. Overnight stay at Jaipur hotel.

Day 8: Jaipur – Jodhpur (By surface, 335 Kms/6 hrs drive)

After a relaxed breakfast, check-out from hotel and transfer to drive to Jodhpur, a drive which takes (335 Kms, 6 hrs). On arrival, transfer to the hotel. One of the specialties of this metropolitan city is that almost all the houses based around the fort of Mehrangarh are painted in blue color, due to which the city is even known as the “Blue City”, exhibiting its own charm. Overnight stay at the Jodhpur hotel.

Day 9: In Jodhpur

In the morning, go for city tour of Jodhpur. Visit Meharangarh Fort — Mehrangarh Fort is an ancient hill fort situated in Jodhpur City. Then proceed to Umaid Bhawan Palace which is located on Chittar Hill. It is one of the world’s largest private residences and also one of the most popular Jodhpur tourist places.

Later, visit Jaswant Thada which is a royal cenotaph located near Mehrangarh Fort entrance. It is famed as one of the most beautiful white marble cenotaphs in Rajasthan. Return to the hotel for overnight stay at Jodhpur hotel.

Day 10: Jodhpur – Udaipur (By surface, 255 Kms/5 hrs drive)

Post breakfast, depart for the city of Udaipur (255 Kms, 5 Hr). On arrival, transfer to the hotel.

Udaipur is known as The city of Lakes, Located in the Aravalli ranges of Rajasthan. The city of Udaipur is situated at a distance of about 405 km from the state capital Jaipur. The City of Dawn, is set on the edge of three lakes, forming a brilliant kaleidoscope of narrow lanes flanked by bright stalls, gardens, lakes, palaces and temples. The city is famous for its palaces, lake, museums, temples, and gardens and much more.

Overnight stay at the hotel in Udaipur.

Day 11: In Udaipur

This morning, take a full day city tour of Udaipur including a boat ride at Lake Pichola. The city was founded in 1567 CE by Maharana Udai Singh on the advice of a sage. Udaipur was last of the many Mewar capitals. It was in Udaipur that legendary Maharana Pratap was born.

The city acquires its scenic beauty from the Aravallis and the Three lakes of Pichola, Fateh Sagar and Udai Sagar, which make it a remarkable oasis in the midst of a desert. Overnight stay at the hotel in Jodhpur.

Day 12: Udaipur – New Delhi

After breakfast, check — out from hotel. Later, drive to Udaipur airport to board a flight to New Delhi at 0735hrs which arrives at 18450 hrs. Meet our representative at airport and transfer to hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel in New Delhi.

Day 13: In New Delhi

After breakfast, proceed for the full day city tour of Old Delhi and New Delhi. In the old city, visit Red Fort built by Emperor Shah Jahan; Jama Masjid, one of the largest mosques in India; Rai Ghat- the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi and enjoy a walking tour through Chandni Chowk- the silver street of Delhi bustling with activity.

In the afternoon,

In the afternoon, visit Qutab Minar, the tallest stone tower in India; After which pay a visit to India Gate — A War Memorial Arch. Also, drive past the President’s house, Parliament house, Government secretariat buildings and Connaught place — the heart of New Delhi and a busy shopping center. Overnight stay at the hotel in New Delhi.

Day 14: New Delhi – Fly back home

Morning free for leisure, transfer to the International Airport to fly back home or to any onward destination.
